Hey guys, KOM are a bit too early for me, so I'll be at the track for 1h-1h15 of flat, with some sprints. Type and number on sprints will depend on how many cyclist we are. Everyone is welcome. Meeting 8am at the hairpine.

See you there

Is the F1 even open/clean yet?

I don't have any idea....I'll see once there. Anyway, the bridge is open to get there, so why don't we go and have a look to have a better idea how the F1 is.

I went yesterday, the sides have a small amount of rock/sand, but in comparison my bike looked way cleaner than after i did le houde last week. The car/bike barrier isn't up yet so you can stick to whatever lane you want and the only cars traveling it are the parc jean drapeau or the people who work in the brown/F1? building.

Hey I was wondering which bridge do you take to get to the F1 track? And are there specific times it is open for cycling and stuff like that?

The track is always open for cyclists, no specific times, they haven't put up the car/bike dividers yet so you just share the road.

If you're coming from the ghetto/plateau your use George-Cartier, if from Atwater/Concordia ghetto use pont de la concorde, both have bike lanes, though the pont de la concorde is still pretty messy.... it sounds like you're riding on pop rocks.

I'd suggest google mapping it before leaving.

Sweet! Thanks for all the info. I'll probably be going sometime soon if the weather stays this nice.

I prefer peel straight down to the old port and onto the pont de la concorde for getting to the track from the ghetto personally...that is once it has been swept.

went down there today,
if you go down peel and then hop on the path you can take it over via pont de la concorde. The path has a fair amount of gravel on it but it's ok. Also, the track is mostly OK with some water running over from the melt on the back section (After turn 5) but it should be fine Thursday as it's not supposed to freeze overnight

i'm not sure if this is supposed to be from this week or last. I noticed that branden posted on the 16th which was Tuesday.

In any case, i'll be at the hairpin at 8:00am tomorrow (the 18th).

I might make an appearance as well. Don't hold your breath, though.
