The 2013 ECCC road racing season kicked off this past weekend at
Rutgers, the state university of New Jersey. While a majority of the
McGill cycling team was unable to attend the race due to a conflicting
spring training camp in South Carolina, two hale and hearty riders
sacrificed a week of riding in the sweet Carolina hills to represent
our fair school. Their names were Michael Baird and Pete Watson, and
they were to be the stuff of legend.

An experienced coach can motivate you, help you and make you fulfill your full potential. As in other parts of one's life, the more you feel you are progressing, the more you will have fun on the bike (and the more results you will put up for the team :))

Here are the coaching companies supported by McGill Cycling:

A small but feisty contingent of four McGill racers competed in
Dartmouth College's L'Enfer du Nord race weekend, held in Hanover, NH.
The first event of the weekend was the Bridge-To-Ridge individual time

way through Dartmouth's iconic ivy league campus. Eric Burge dominated
the Mens B field with a 1st place finish, averaging over 49 km/hr.

Next up was the Frat Row criterium, a 4-corner race with a finishing

McGill Cycling started 2012 off with an impressive weekend of racing at Princeton's New Jersey Devil. Despite gloomy forecasts, the weather played nice and the roads stayed mostly dry. Saturday's road race and Sunday's individual time trial both featured significant climbs, where the team's early season training camp in the mountains of South Carolina was a significant advantage. The criterium Sunday afternoon was a reprieve for the non-climbers on the team; with nothing more than a small power climb before the finishing straight this was a course for the pure sprinters.
