mct logo Now in its ninth year, the McGill Cycling Team is proud to represent McGill University at races all across Quebec, Ontario, and the eastern United States with a membership of almost 90 full time students. Our riders train and compete for all disciplines of cycling, including road, cyclocross, cross country mountain biking, downhill mountain biking, and even multi-sport events such as duathlon, triathlon, and adventure racing. All levels of riders from McGill and the greater Montréal cycling community are welcome to join us on our training rides which are posted on the forum.

We are a very inclusive varsity team, and all McGill students are eligible to become members and reap the benefits of team training weekends, races, access to the gym, spinning workouts all winter long, as well as our close relationship with Cycles Gervais Rioux and our other generous sponsors. Our riders compete at all levels, from weekly criterium series to national level championships and even international races. No racing experience is necessary to join: all you need is a bike and a desire to ride it better!

The team communicates via the forum on this website as well as a listserv. Please feel free to sign up on our forum and post a ride. The only rule is, "If you post a ride, make sure that you show up!"

Email us with any questions regarding team membership, sponsorship opportunities, donations, or for ordering team jerseys!
