Safe place to leave bike around school?

Hey guys,

As an avid biker and proud McGill student, I'm glad to become part of this forum :)

The reason I joined though is because I figured somebody might know where to lock up a bike during the day at school (safely). The reason is because at the beginning of the summer I bought a relatively expensive bike and I don't want to leave it on a bike rack for fear of getting it stolen. I want to bike to school while its still warm outside (I live out in the west island) and my fear for leaving my defenceless bike alone all day stops me from doing this :(

Any ideas of where I could leave it near campus?

Thanks so much,
Mike

I'd say if you have an expensive bike, leave it at home. There isn't a safe place for nice bikes unless you have an office.

Ditto what Mr. Turtle said. If you don't have an office, you can try to make friends with a grad student and stash it in theirs.
